Start or Stop Service
Welcome to your local PUD. In order to start your new electrical service account at a location that already has the electrical infrastructure installed, you are required to contact our office during normal business hours.
Fees & Deposits
- A deposit may be required, depending on your credit history
- There is an $80 connection fee.
- Credit history requirements can be located in the Customer Service Policy
- Service will be connected within 3 business days of your request
For NEW construction, please review our Line Extension Policy (PDF). Complete the New Service Application (PDF) and schedule a meeting with engineering staff. In addition, you will be responsible for all labor and industry requirements.
It is your responsibility to notify PUD when you are moving. You will be responsible for all usage until notification has been provided. Contact our office at least 3 business days prior to disconnecting services.
To terminate your service, complete the Termination of Utility Services Application (PDF) and send the completed document to Kittitas PUD at 1400 Vantage Highway, Ellensburg WA, 98926. You may also complete the Termination of Utility Services Electronic Form and submit the document directly to Kittitas PUD. We will make arrangements to shut off the power at the proper time and forward your final bill to your new address. Contact our office during normal business hours for further information.
You must provide a forwarding address. It is the responsibility of the new occupant to reconnect the services.
